Noreen Helsop and Muriel Giles triumph in the Clare Trophy final
Congratulations to Noreen Helsop and Muriel Giles who beat Kay Dinsdale and Christine Simmons in a very close, hard fought final which ended one up on the 18th. Noreen and Muriel will now go on to represent the golf club in the Daily Mail Foursomes national competition.
Seniors' Open - Fri 18 Sep
The Winners were L. Courtenay and J. Ryan with 44 points (22 on the back nine). Second were S. Bartrop and C. Hutt with 44 points (20 on the back 9) and third were L. Hancock and D. Blissett also with 44 (19 on the back 9). There were six teams with 42 points and S. Quigley and G. Tyler were fourth in the competition with 22 on the back nine. T. Windridge and R. Cragg were fifth with 21 on the back nine and 14 on the back six. Just missing out on the prizes were D. Chapman and A. Harris with 42 points, 21 on the back nine and 13 on the back six and the others on 42 points were T. Stevens and P. Medlin with 21 on the back nine and 12 on the back six (winners of the Visitors' Prize), A. Muir and N. Wallace with 20 on the back nine and M. Taylor and P. Stanbury with 18 on the back nine.

First place - L. Bridges and G. Richards, second place - D. Wilcox and S. Gifford, third place - N. Wilce and S. Bartrop, fourth place - M. Wall and P. Wall and in fifth place - C. Hatch and R. Gliddon.
Winners of the Triangle Cup - Fri 18 Sep
The last rounds of this three way club competition were played on Friday, 18 September at Launceston with Bude taking on the Launceston Ladies. The teams consist of eight players with the top six scores counting from each tie. After the second round Bude were leading by one point but with the help of a sparkling 41 points from Avril Smith the team managed to win the event with a clear seven shot lead.
Final Scores - Winners - Bude 560, second place - Launceston 553 and in third place - Holsworthy 520.
Rose Bowl - Wed 16 Sep
One of the more prestigious cup competitions in the Ladies calendar. After the knockout rounds June Downes met Collette Burgess in the final. June became the 2015 champion with a 5 & 4 victory. Congratulations June.
President's Day - Sat 5 Sep
Always a well supported day. Top lady went to Chris Simmons with an impressive 38 points.
Tree Cup - Sun 13 Sep
Chris Simmons also featured strongly in this family competition. This time ably supported by husband Dave adding to Chris's successful September with 36 points to claim victory in a foursomes format.
Ladies Stableford - Wed 2 Sep
Winner - Jill Tucker (30 points).

Winner - Suzanne Courtenay with a round of gross 81, nett 72.
Bude Juniors
Our Saturday morning junior coaching sessions are still proving very popular with an average of 16 junior golfers taking part each week. The ages range from 6 years to 17 years so if you know any boys or girls who would like to give golf a try, please click here to contact the golf shop and speak to Nick Cook or Adam Curtis. There are two sessions, one from 9:30am to 10:30am and then from 10:30am to 11:30am.
We are also running short of practice balls for the junior coaching sessions so any donation will be gratefully received!

The entry sheet for the annual Captain vs. President Match is now on the notice board in the foyer. This is a very popular event with Hi /Low drawn pairings playing in 4BBB stableford format. Pairings and teams will be drawn on the evening of Thursday, 8 October. Please sign up and support your Rundle (Captain) and Richard (President).
