Captain’s Day

The 2018 Captain’s Day start sheet is now on display in the clubhouse foyer. The individual stableford is open to every member of the club and we have prizes for each category; men's, ladies, seniors' and juniors' so you no excuse not to join in and support our Captain. If you are in a generous mood please feel free to sponsor one of the “nearest the pin” holes.

First place - Andy Muir (+2), second place - Simon Greatbatch (+1) and in third place - Stephen Bartrop (+1).

Georgia’s Golf Day

Junior news

Junior Stableford – Saturday, 19 May

First place - Morgan Bryant (41), second place - Elliot Pates (41) and in third place - Che Thomas (40).

This week it was Morgan’s turn to hop into the winner’s circle with Elliot and Che collecting second and third. Next week we have our second junior trophy competition; The Crooklets Cup.

Junior Fixtures

Adam has revived six Junior Trophy/Cup competitions from years gone bye and has come up with the fixture list below so please put them in your diaries….

Crooklets Cup – Saturday, 26 May.
Tom Owen Cup – Saturday, 23 June.
Colwill Cup – Saturday, 21 July.
Lou Adwards Cup – Saturday, 25 August.
Congdon Cup – Saturday, 22 September.

We will have an Order of Merit running along side these six events with the best four scores counting. We will also have a prize for the best eclectic score through the six competitions.

Junior coaching

Junior coaching sessions take place every Saturday at the following times:

Under 8's - 9:30am to 10:30am - £4 per hour.
Older group - 10:45am to 11:45am - £4 per hour.
Junior roll-up from 12:45pm.

You do not need to be a member to join the junior coaching so if you know anyone who wishes to learn please tell them to come along.
