Christmas Miexd Festive Fun - Sunday, 17 December

Spaces are still available, but please be quick as the draw will be taking place on Thursday. We are also asking all golfers to pre-pay the entry fee in the golf shop before Sunday. Competition - £5 and twos - £2.

Turkey Trot - Sunday, 10 December

First place - R. Curtis and P. Calvert (39 points), second place - J. Goaman and S. Mcivor (38 points) and in third place - Bimbo and J Vanstone (37 points).

Despite some extremely windy conditions, everyone made it to the finishing line with Ryan and Peter claiming the largest bird. However, it was Rundle Hatcher who ended up claiming the biggest prize by returning the only two of day and winning 50 golf balls. A big thank you needs to out to Simon Greatbatch and all his Christmas helpers for running a great event and especially collecting all of those turkeys.

Seniors' 3BBB - Friday, 8 December

First place - Victor Cornish, John Reed and Ken Marriott (68 points), second place - Doug Thom, Gary Carter and Peter Bernard (66 points), third place - Danny Long, John Lee and Mike Wingfield (65 points), fourth place - Peter Reay, Doug Holt and David Latter (65 points) and in fifth place - John Fensom, Ron Gilbert and Len Hancock (65 points).

Pitchmarks

As the greens become softer we have started to notice more pitchmarks being left. Please ensure you have a pitch fork in your bag and that you try to mend yours and one other when you play each hole. The condition of the putting surface has been improving all year and we want that to continue.
