Triangle Cup

The Bude GC men's side took an early lead in this year's three way match against Holsworthy GC and Launceston GC. Bude used the home advantage with a combined score of 249 points, leaving Launceston and Holsworthy trailing on 225 and 232 respectively. Well done team.

Captains' Night

The first Captains' Night was played on Tuesday and a lovely sunny evening saw Doug, Chunky and Christine pick up first place. Captiains' Night will continue every Tuesday between 4:00pm and 6:00pm so please come along.

A Great Start To The Season For Bude Ladies

Wednesday, 26 April - League match vs. St. Enodoc away - Bude won 4.5 - 2.5. Team; Jean Reed, Jean Pearce, Collette Burgess, Shirley Percy, Sally Brankin, Avril Smith and Carol Bowman.

Sunday, 30 April - Annodata - Bude beat Perranporth at home 4-1. Team; Collette, Hana, Kathy, Kay and Jean Reed.

Wednesday, 3 May - EG/SW Regional Medal Final at Tehidy - Collette finished in 16th place just missing out on countback. Full results on England Golf website.

Wednesday, 3 May - Friendly away vs. RND - 2 - 2 draw. Team; Jill Tucker and Carol Bowman, Glen Thom and Alison Houghton, Sue Kershaw and Sandra O'Connor and Sally Brankin and Isabel Butler.

First place - Shirley Percy (Nett 75), second place - Avril Smith (Nett 79), third place - Mandy Congdon (Nett 85) and in fourth place - Carol Bowman (Nett 86).

Van Rennan and Player Cup Round One - Sundau, 30 April

Division One - First place - Phil Carpenter (42 points), second place - Simon Greatbatch (36) and in third place - Stephen Bartrop (36).

Division Two - First place - Adrian Thorne (32 points), second place - Doug Holt (27) and in third place - David Currie (24).

Junior 11 Hole Spring League

We have had a great start to the Spring League with all the junior competitors enjoying the longer 11 hole format. We are seeing great improvements in technique and with the understanding of the game. We have allocated 15 rounds of which the best 10 will count for each player so make sure to you enter and get as many in as possible. Results so far are as follows:

Round One - First place - Ethan Goodege and second place - Oscar Davey.
Round Two - First place - Taylor Crockford and second place - Oscar Davey.
Round Three - First place - Daniel Putt and in second place - Jake Byrne.
Round Four - First place - Connor Vanstone and in second place - Elliot Pates.
Round Five - Tied for first place - Ethan Goodege and Charlie Higham.
